The 52nd edition of the Southampton Boat Show, due to take place in September, has been cancelled for 2020. However, organiser British Marine said it is exploring options to hold an alternative, smaller scale outdoor event.

Maxi Yacht Rolex Cup & Rolex Swan Cup

What’s the latest? Both the Maxi Yacht Rolex Cup and the Rolex Swan Cup will take place in September 2020. Of course, we will continue to assess the situation and adapt our sporting events to ensure maximum safety."

Monaco Yacht Show

What’s the latest? The Monaco Yacht Show has been postponed to September 2021.

What they said…“Ongoing apprehension from some exhibitors and attendees, combined with the fact that much of the superyacht fleet is currently still located in the US and Caribbean, has led to the conclusion that it is in the industry’s best interests to postpone until September 2021." Perini Navi Cup

What's the latest? The eighth edition of the Perini Navi Cup has been postponed until September 15-18, 2021.

Swan European Regatta

What’s the latest? The Swan European Regatta, due to take place 7-13 July, has been postponed to 2021.

Original date: 18-23 June

What they said…"With more than 100 yachts expected at this year’s event and 31 already registered, it is with a heavy heart that Nautor and Turku have jointly decided to postpone the event to summer 2021. Turku has always been the house for Swans in the Baltic and we feel the need to host this event in the best condition ever, and this is not the right time. We surely will celebrate our Spirit of Swan properly next year."

Palm Beach International Boat Show

What’s the latest? The Palm Beach International Boat Show, which was originally postponed until 14-17 May, will now take place online. The Virtual Palm Beach International Boat Show will launch on May 14th.

Original date: 17-20 June

The Superyacht Cup Palma will return stronger than ever in 2021 for the event’s 25th anniversary - the provisional dates are 23-26 June 2021."

America's Cup World Series - Portsmouth

What’s the latest? The America's Cup World Series Portsmouth, due to take place 4-7 June, has been cancelled.

Original date: 4-7 June

What they said… "It is with great regret that the America’s Cup Defender, Emirates Team New Zealand, and local organising authority ORIGIN Sports Group announce the unavoidable cancellation of Emirates ACWS Portsmouth. This decision was not taken lightly and now allows all of the teams to focus their attention on their respective operations in their home ports in the coming months while planning logistics for their move to Auckland and subsequent development, testing and preparations for ACWS Auckland (17-20 December), PRADA Cup (15 Jan- 22 Feb) and the America’s Cup Match presented by Prada (6-15 March)."

America's Cup World Series - Sardinia

What’s the latest? The America's Cup World Series Sardinia, due to take place 23-26 April, has been cancelled.

Original date: 23-26 April

What they said… "Due to the Coronavirus pandemic and the restrictive measures imposed by various governments the Panel has decided that it has become objectively impossible to hold the ACWS Sardinia – Cagliari event from the 23rd to the 26th of April 2020 and has canceled the event. A postponement of the ACWS Sardinia - Cagliari could only be achieved with the mutual agreement of the Challenger of Record and the Defender. Monaco Grand Prix

What’s the latest? The Monaco Grand Prix, a highlight on the yachting calendar, has been postponed.

Original date: May 21-24

Original date: 15-16 May

New date: 5-6 September

St Barths Bucket

What’s the latest? The St Barths Bucket, due to take place from 19-22 March, has been cancelled.

What they said…"The Bucket Stewards have made the decision to cancel the 2020 St Barths Bucket. In addition to the overriding concerns related to the accelerating global pandemic, circumstances have simply made it logistically impossible for the Bucket organization to provide a safe, competitive and responsible racing and social environment on St Barths. Regional French government mandates, sailing federation guidance and international travel bans on key regatta safety personnel were only a few of the many factors that forced this decision."

New date: TBC

What they said…"It is with a heavy heart that we must inform you that the March 2020 Superyacht Gathering will be cancelled. As I am sure you are all aware, the decision was not made easily but in the current environment, to go ahead would have been irresponsible. We have already discussed organising a Long Lunch in October in which we can enjoy your company, network with guests and listen to one or two speakers."

What’s the latest? The Palma Superyacht Show has been postponed from 29 April - 3 May and will now be held from 4-7 June.

Original date: 29 April - 3 May

New date: 4-7 June

What they said…"In light of global health concerns related to the coronavirus outbreak the Palma International Boat Show’s event organisers have decided to postpone the show until June. The decision complies with the Department of Health and Consumer Affair’s recommendation that events which attract a heavy concentration of people should be postponed. While decisions like this are not easy, the safety and well-being of our visitors, exhibitors and partners comes first."
